PuppetryLab is a blog-style web site that provides advanced puppetry training and general puppetry information through articles, tutorials, and video podcasts. The site went live in November, 2006, and was created by puppeteer Amy Harder.
PuppetryLab features five central subject categories:
- Training Vids: a podcast of short instructional videos that focus on advanced manipulation techniques
- Improv Games: a collection of drama improv games of particular interest and help to puppeteers in a team setting
- Video Monitors: an online course to familiarize puppeteers with the benefits and restrictions of working with live video monitors
- Events: a detailed listing of puppetry training events worldwide
- General Puppetry: articles that provide basic info, inspiration, and links to helpful information
