John E. Kennedy (b. November 17th) is a puppeteer and puppet builder. Kennedy took over the role of Dr. Teeth shortly after Jim Henson's sudden, unfortunate death with until 2005 Bill Barretta became the main performer of the character, as John had been chosen to be Floyd Pepper's performer following Jerry Nelson's departure, until Matt Vogel took over the role.
