Jackal is an honest but not not bright Tunisian farmer. He is often tricked by his good friend Hedgehog. Although he tries his hardest to do the right thing, he usually messes things up. In the end, he learns an important lesson about getting along and working together. He is one of the main characters from Jackal and Hedgehog.
The puppet show Jackal and Hedgehog was created in the mid 1990s when Sean Johnson and Patrick Johnson were performing puppet shows under the name Johnson Brothers Puppets in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is one of their oldest shows. After moving to Los Angeles, the show was rebuilt for the 2000 summer tour season.
